This course is designed for students who wish to make accounting a vocation or who wish to apply its principles to personal life and use.
The course covers the complete accounting cycle for a sole proprietorship, manual and automated procedures for a merchandising business organized as a partnership and the accounting cycle for a corporation.
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to perform basic accounting clerk tasks with direction. This course is open to 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. There are no other prerequisites.
