Ag Mechanics III

This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of engines, pumps, electric motors, welding, cultivation, planting and harvesting equipment. It includes the adjustment, care, and maintenance of power equipment used on the farm. Much of this care, use of handling of machinery will be taught in the actual operation of the tractors and equipment available at the district farm. Individual and group project construction will also be taught.

Note: Three years of Agriculture Mechanics meets the visual/performing arts requirement for graduation.

Ag Mechanics II is a prerequisite for this course, and it is open to 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.
