Band consists of four different classes, Jazz Band A, Jazz Band B, Band I, and Band II. Everyone in Jazz Band A is in either Band I or Band II. Jazz Band A is the advanced Jazz Band that plays at Club Cougar. Jazz Band B is a beginner Jazz Band. Band I is the beginning concert band and feeds in to Band II. Band II is the varsity band and consists of freshman through seniors. It is Band II that plays at the football games and marches in the parades. Band II is going to San Francisco this year perform in the Heritage Gold Festival! All bands perform at concerts.
