Mr. Mitchell Bahr has taught as a band director for 13 years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Biola University in La Mirada, California and a Master’s Degree from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. He is currently in his eighth year with Foothill High School as director of bands, serving as department chair. Previously, Mr. Bahr taught at Rancho-Starbuck Intermediate School in Whittier, California. He is a member of MENC, CMEA, CBDA, CAJ, and an honorary member of Epsilon Kappa Epsilon.

In his spare time, Mr. Bahr enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to Carmen (1995) and they have two young children, Isabelle (six) and Isaac (four). Besides family life, Mr. Bahr enjoys tennis, basketball, golf, card games (hearts!), and watching Seinfeld, Psych or the SF Giants.
