Foothill High School is located approximately 12 miles east of Redding, California in the supportive community of Palo Cedro. FHS is proud of our accomplishment academically as we are at the 833 mark on the STAR testing API (Academic Performance Index). Congratulations to all of our staff and students on their hard work and effort in accomplishment this great achievement.

We also boast a great athletic program in which we have had several teams win or play for section titles over the past several years. Our students participate in over twenty sports teams. In addition to our fine academic and athletic success we have many opportunities for students to get involved in school activities. Foothill High School has one of the top music programs around with an outstanding band and jazz band and our drama and music departments team up to produce the annual Club Cougar in the second half of the school year. We also have an outstanding Agriculture Department that competes at the county and state levels along with many other activities and clubs.
